Chris Beam, Executive Director

        Chris Beam is the Executive Director of the Samaritan Counseling Center of Southwest Georgia.    Chris is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 10 years of experience in counseling as well as experience in administrative roles.    Prior to moving to Bainbridge, Chris and his family spent eight years in the Dominican Republic working with at-risk youth and their families.   He earned a BA in Communication from Georgia Southern, an MA in Counseling and an MA in Christian Education from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY. 

      Chris counsels a variety of issues including marital conflict, depression, grief, parenting issues, behavioral concerns, self-esteem, relational struggles, and family conflict.

Dayna Watson, Therapist

Since its grand opening in May 2007, the Samaritan Counseling Center of Southwest Georgia has provided counseling, educational, and consultation services in the Southwest Georgia area.  The new counseling center has been growing quickly since that time, and it now welcomes Dayna Watson as its newest therapist.

            Dayna earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Russian from Vanderbilt University and a Masters of Education in Community Agency Counseling from Auburn University.  She recently completed an internship at the Methodist Home for Children and Youth working with foster children and their families.  She has experience working with a wide range of issues, including sexual and physical abuse, depression, ADHD, anger management, aggression, and anxiety.  In addition to more traditional forms of therapy, Dayna often integrates play therapy as well as art and music into the counseling process.

Pauletta G. Malone, Office Manager

Pauletta brings 20 years of experience in office management, focusing in the field of health care.  She has an AA degree in Business Administration from Bainbridge College and will receive her BS degree in Business Management this summer from Georgia Southwestern University. 

Pauletta has been married for 18 years to Minister John Malone, and has a 4 year old son named Myles.  She has a passion for people and helping those in need.  Her hobbies include spending time with her family, and cooking.
